Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships working in cohesion with AAG Sales Directors and Business Development Managers.
- Conduct sales presentations to motor factor business, convert competitor battery business to AAG supply and assist the motor factor to sell through to the workshop with technical assistance.
- Increase in line with budgets, AAG’s market share within the battery sector.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing enquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Coordinate technical support with our commercial & marketing team to ensure a positive outcome for the customer.
- Assist in the development of our 12 months marketing plan including, advertising, PR, and promotions and report on performance of campaigns.
- Our Private label Brand portfolio has grown beyond this category, which creates an exciting opportunity to leverage these to lock in specialist deals.

Requirements
- Proven track record of success of sales in the Automotive Replacement Parts Industry (Essential)
- Strong knowledge of Automotive Batteries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
- Hunter like mentality, able to demonstrate the ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
- Excellent commercial acumen.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, trade shows, and events as required.

Reporting
- Reports to AAG UK DC Sales Director.
- Complete weekly reports include customer visits, technical calls, sales out data and any other data critical to growing market share (including price changes).
- Monthly identify catalogue gaps/opportunities for product development.
- Work together with our supply partners technical, sales & marketing teams, to develop opportunities.
