We’re proud to have been helping our clients build better financial futures for over 50 years. How have we achieved this? By working together and supporting each other, all over the world. So, join our team and feel like you’re part of something bigger.
About your team
The Global Cyber Operations team delivers cyber defence capabilities to protect Fidelity’s systems, data, and clients. The team operates across regions to identify, investigate, and respond to cyber risks while continuously improving security controls and operational effectiveness.
Insider Risk and Data Loss Prevention is a core capability within Global Cyber Operations, responsible for identifying and preventing data loss, defining and monitoring insider risk behaviours, and supporting sensitive investigations. The team operates globally across the UK, India, and Hong Kong, with service provider support.
About your role
As Insider Risk Manager, you will lead the global Insider Risk and Data Loss Prevention capability. You will be accountable for service stability, operational delivery, control improvement, and the continued development of the Insider Risk strategy.
You will act as Product Owner for Insider Risk and DLP within the Product Centric Delivery Model, owning the roadmap, backlog, priorities, budget, vendor engagement, and delivery outcomes across run-the-business and change-the-business activity. You will work with the assigned Capability Architect to mature the function and ensure the strategy is aligned to business risk, regulatory expectations, and operational need.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be expected to understand the tooling, detections, workflows, and evidence standards, while also leading the team, managing stakeholders, and representing the function in audit and control reviews.
The role owns the cyber control capability and escalation framework.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
