Are you a natural problem-solver who enjoys turning information into action?

Do you like spotting what’s not working, bringing people together and finding practical solutions?

Are you organised, curious and confident enough to ask questions, challenge the status quo and keep things moving?

We are looking for an organised, proactive Dockless Operations Co-ordinator to support Westminster Council in managing and improving its dockless transport services.

About the role:

In this key role, you’ll help improve how dockless transport is managed by bringing together complaints, data, enforcement activity and local feedback. You’ll spot trends, flag emerging issues, keep actions moving and make sure the right people have the information they need.

You’ll work across council teams and operators to understand what’s happening on the ground, identify recurring problems and support practical solutions. You’ll also help monitor performance, improve compliance and make sure resident and member concerns are followed through.

It’s a varied, fast moving role, so you’ll need to be organised, proactive and comfortable balancing competing priorities, deadlines and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate weekly tasking meetings and monthly performance reviews, recording actions, owners and deadlines and following these through.
  • Maintain trackers, dashboards and registers covering performance, hotspots, member issues, bay reviews and operator commitments.
  • Review complaints, member enquiries, enforcement activity and operational data to identify trends, recurring issues and emerging risks.
  • Work with council teams and operators to resolve problems and improve performance.
  • Track activity across enforcement, parking and kerbside, network management, data and technology, and future delivery projects.
  • Monitor operator performance, including response times, removals, enforcement activity and agreed service standards.
  • Keep resident and member concerns visible, ensuring agreed actions and responses are completed.
  • Escalate issues where progress is slow or wider or senior input is needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
