Monday - Friday 5 days a week
Main Purpose of Job
The main activities of the Document Control Coordinator will be responsible for the leadership and coordination the project specific DCs, supporting the Head of Programme Office with the roll out of Project Document Management system, management of Document Control thereafter, Document Control issues, allocating workloads and continued development of the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and Document Control processes.
Provide a professional and timely document control service to the projects and other operational contracts/locations. This also includes ensuring information is correctly distributed and acknowledged, records maintained of issues and changes according company procedures.
Accountability
- Initially responsible for the roll-out project of the new Document Management system into Onshore.
- Responsible for coordinating all Project Document Controllers to assure that document management processes are implemented across all departments in the Business.
- Implementation and continued development of Electronic Document Management System.
- Co-ordinate access and permission rights to the Document Management Database for Staff and Contractors with Document Control Manager.
- Prepare and undertake training sessions on Electronic Document Management System with staff and External Parties.
- Ensure document controllers administer all documentation in accordance with the Quality Management System and other relevant specifications.
- Ensure up to date lists of drawings and documents to be issued in the project document management system.
- Ensure document control team are storing hardcopy / electronic copy of all document revisions and that they are controlled in such a manner that they are readily available and retrievable.
- Support and monitor Document Management of the projects.
- KPI's as per Project requirements.
- If no document control on the project, DCC shall be responsible for all Document Control activities and responsibilities.

Key Tasks
- Coordinating DC Team.
- Main point of contact for any Document Control related issues.
- Maintaining document management systems and MDRs.
- Assisting and participating with audits.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for you to have a good understanding of document control, document control/management procedures.
Previous experience within the wind or electricity generation industry and the use of Aconex is advantageous, however this is not essential.
