Document Control Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Shaft and Silo Programme for a Document Control Coordinator. This is a key role supporting the effective implementation of the Dounreay Management System, helping to ensure compliance with relevant standards, statutory requirements, and document control processes that underpin safe and effective operations.

Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of controlled documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys collaborating with others, driving high standards, and acting as a local champion for best practice in document management.

What You'll Do

In this varied and rewarding role, you will ensure that documentation is managed efficiently and in accordance with company procedures, supporting both operational and project delivery objectives. You will act as the focal point for document control activities within your area, providing guidance and promoting consistent application of document management processes.

  • Carry out quality and compliance checks on new and revised documents to ensure adherence to required standards and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain controlled documentation, ensuring documents are correctly created, reviewed, approved, distributed, and acknowledged.
  • Champion the Controlled Management System (CMS), supporting users and promoting effective document control practices across the local area.
  • Develop meaningful document control metrics and reports, while liaising with key stakeholders including Management Systems, internal auditors, and Application Controllers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
