Document Control Manager - London/Hybrid | 47,683 + Benefits
We are recruiting for an experienced Document Control Manager to join a large infrastructure business, managing a team of 5 Document Controllers and leading the delivery and continuous improvement of document management and control processes.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and developing a team of Document Controllers.
- Leading the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of document control processes, procedures, and systems.
- Managing team performance against KPIs, objectives, and business strategy.
- Overseeing the lifecycle of project documentation between clients, contractors, stakeholders, and interested parties.
- Ensuring effective document tracking, archiving, retention, and storage.
- Supporting the review and acceptance of project deliverables and maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Candidates
You will have:
- Extensive experience in document control/document management, ideally within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or major projects.
- Proven experience managing and developing a document control team.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working with electronic document management systems, records tracking, archiving, and retention.
- Knowledge of project documentation processes and the typical project lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Bridge (eB) or similar Document Management System.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 document requirements.
- Knowledge of the Public Records Act 1958 and Section 46 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
- Experience with bulk scanning systems and PDF functionality.
