Document Controller

Headley, Surrey and Henley on Thames

£45,000 to £50,000

I am currently working with an established main contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Document Controller to support two live construction projects across Headley, Surrey and Henley on Thames.

This is a permanent opportunity for someone who is organised, confident managing project documentation and comfortable working closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team.

The role will include:

  • Managing and maintaining all project documentation across two live projects
  • Controlling drawings, revisions, technical submissions and project correspondence
  • Ensuring documents are correctly issued, recorded and distributed
  • Maintaining accurate document registers and revision control
  • Supporting site and project teams with document retrieval and administration
  • Managing incoming and outgoing information from consultants and subcontractors
  • Ensuring project information is stored correctly and remains fully up to date
  • Assisting with handover documentation and project close out when required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction
  • Experience working for a main contractor would be highly beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of document control processes and procedures
  • Experience managing drawings and technical construction information
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence communicating with project managers, site teams and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage information across multiple projects simultaneously
