Due to continued expansion, we require a Document Controller for our projects based in Newport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Procore for the lifecycle of the project in line with digital project delivery procedures
  • Liaise with Procore Committee and Support team frequently to review system adoption and compliance
  • Assist Design Co-ordinator in managing the workflow for the creation, distribution, and maintenance of project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence
  • Implement and maintain an efficient document control system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Monitor and enforce the use of correct naming convention according to the project Communication Protocol
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless flow of information and documentation
  • Manage document versioning to prevent errors and discrepancies in project documentation
  • Address queries and concerns related to document management, fostering a culture of compliance and efficiency
  • Assist Design Co-ordinator in ensuring client information requirements are clear to the team and are delivered by the team i.e., what information is to be delivered, when and by whom

  • Proven experience in document control within the construction industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of construction processes and documentation requirements
  • Experience of using Document Control Software - Procore but not essential
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage a high volume of documents and tasks simultaneously
