About the Role
WPS are seeking a highly organised and proactive Document Controller to join our Planned Works Division. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth management and control of documentation across a portfolio of social housing projects. You'll be based in Oldham but will be expected to travel regularly to project sites and regional offices.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and accessibility.
- Liaise with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely document flow.
- Support project managers with document tracking and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external document control standards.
- Set up and manage document control systems for new projects.
- Attend site visits and meetings to support documentation needs.

📌 Requirements
- Proven experience in document control within construction or housing sectors.
- Familiarity with planned works and refurbishment projects.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel across North West of England.
🎯 Desirable
- Experience working on social housing projects.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory documentation in construction/the built environment
🚗 Travel
This role requires regular travel to various project sites and offices within the North West so a full UK driving licence is preferred.
