Insight Global Seeking a Document Controller

Insight Global are seeking a Document Controller for a leading Facilities Management and Fire & Security organisation supporting large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across the South East of England.

This position requires 4 days onsite in London and Slough for a 6-month contract with potential extensions and is Inside IR35.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Project Managers across multiple active projects, ensuring all project documentation is accurate, compliant, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing document registers
  • Tracking technical submissions and drawing revisions
  • Maintaining Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and SharePoint platforms
  • Coordinating documentation between project teams and stakeholders
  • Supporting project delivery through effective document control processes

Must-Have Requirements

  • Strong experience as a Document Controller within project-based environments
  • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven experience managing document control processes and document registers
  • Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
  • Experience using SharePoint
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to identify issues and proactively drive resolutions
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within project teams
  • Client-facing experience with professional communication skills
  • Willingness to travel between project locations throughout the week

Plusses

  • Experience working within the data centre industry
  • Previous experience within Fire & Security, Facilities Management, or Data Infrastructure environments
  • CSCS Card (or equivalent certification)
  • Experience supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with technical submissions, RAMS, drawings, O&M manuals, commissioning documentation, and project handover processes

  • Hybrid working model with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week
  • Sites are located across London and the South East, primarily within the Slough area
  • Fixed day-rate contract
