Document Controller Role Based in Gartree!
Location: Gartree, Leicestershire
Employment: Permanent / £40,000 - £45,000
Project: Major long-term construction project - 4 years remaining
Site Based: Full-time
Driving Licence: Essential
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a major construction project based in Gartree, Leicestershire. This is a permanent opportunity offering excellent long-term security, with approximately four years remaining on the current project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling project documentation, ensuring information is accurately recorded, distributed, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

- Manage, maintain, and distribute project documentation using Dalux and Viewpoint
- Upload, issue, and track drawings, technical documents, specifications, and project information
- Maintain accurate document registers and revision control
- Ensure the project team is working from the latest approved documentation
- Coordinate document submissions between site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders
- Manage workflows, approvals, and document status within the project CDE
- Maintain structured electronic filing and archiving systems
- Assist with document audits and ensure project procedures are followed
- Support the wider project and site team with document control and general project administration
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Document Controller within construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure
- Experience using Dalux and/or Viewpoint
- Good understanding of document control processes and CDE systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Confident communicating with project teams and subcontractors
- Must hold a driving license and be able to travel to the Gartree site
- Comfortable working in a full-time, site-based environment
