Document Controller

The Document Controller will be responsible for managing project information across multiple large-scale residential development schemes. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining robust document control systems, ensuring compliance with project standards, and supporting effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

The position covers multiple project sites, with regular travel required between sites and occasional travel to the head office in West London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain electronic document management systems (EDMS), ensuring project information is accurately stored, controlled, and distributed.
  • Ensure project documentation remains up to date and is accessible to the appropriate stakeholders throughout all stages of the build.
  • Administer document control systems, provide user support, and carry out quality assurance checks on project information.
  • Set up new projects within the EDMS, including creating users, organisations, permissions, and providing ongoing system administration.
  • Support contractors and consultants with access to project information, user onboarding, and the provision of guidance, training materials, and system support.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for document control queries, resolving issues and liaising with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Produce ad hoc reports and provide administrative support using EDMS platforms, Excel, and other digital tools.
  • Monitor documentation workflows, ensuring timely processing of drawings, RFIs, IFCs, and other project documentation.
  • Maintain document control procedures in line with project and quality management standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
