Document Controller – MEP
Full-Time | Permanent
Location: London
Sector: Major Projects
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking two experienced Document Controllers to join our team on exciting Major Projects.
These are site-based, full-time, permanent positions, offering the opportunity to work within a busy project environment and play a key role in the effective management and control of project documentation.
About the Role
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management, organisation and distribution of project documentation, maintaining accurate records and supporting project teams in accessing the information they need.
Experience working with multiple Common Data Environments (CDEs) is also essential. One of the positions will involve managing documentation across multiple smaller projects, providing a varied and fast-paced workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, organise and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure documents are correctly uploaded, distributed, tracked and archived.
- Maintain accurate document registers and records.
- Control document revisions and ensure teams are working from the latest information.
- Manage documentation through various CDE platforms.
- Ensure project documentation complies with company procedures and industry standards.
- Liaise with project teams, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders regarding document requirements.
- Support project teams in accessing and retrieving required documentation.
- Monitor document workflows and ensure information is distributed to the relevant parties.
- Assist with document control across multiple projects where required.
- Identify and resolve document control issues promptly.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Document Controller role.
- Previous experience within an MEP environment.
- Experience working with various CDE systems.
- Strong understanding of document control processes and procedures.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
