About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a busy construction project in Canary Wharf, London.

The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and document control support to site operations, with responsibility for maintaining accurate documentation, managing permits, supporting health and safety processes, preparing reports, monitoring stock, and overseeing key management procedures.

Pay Rate

£16.85 per hour – PAYE Umbrella

Working Hours

7:00am – 6:00pm

Paid Hours

10.5 hours per day

Duration

Long-term, ongoing

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, scan, and upload weekly safety packs, ensuring all document IDs and dates are accurate.
  • Complete labour returns within the required deadlines.
  • Maintain and monitor PPE stock levels.
  • Prepare, update, and submit weekly reports and delivery performance reports.
  • Produce and print site documentation required for weekly operations.
  • Distribute daily key reports.
  • Manage site key control procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Liaise with the client to ensure permits are completed and signed prior to key release.
  • Ensure all site documentation is accurate, up to date, and readily accessible.
  • Provide general administrative support to the site team as required.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a busy construction environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are essential.

  • Previous experience working as a Document Controller, Site Administrator, or in a similar construction-based administrative role would be highly advantageous.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Document Controller looking for long-term, ongoing work in Canary Wharf.
