Are you an experienced Document Controller looking to play a key role in supporting complex engineering projects?
We have an opportunity to join our dedicated Document Control team, working closely with project teams across the UK and Europe to ensure the accurate management, control and distribution of critical project documentation.
Your attention to detail and organisational skills will help maintain the quality standards of the team. You’ll also support project delivery and ensure documentation is issued accurately and on time.
As a Document Controller, you will collaborate with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders to manage project documentation through our electronic document management systems which provide vital support to project delivery teams. You'll play an important role in maintaining compliance, ensuring document accuracy and helping projects run efficiently from start to finish.

What You'll Be Doing
- Manage incoming and outgoing project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Issue internal and external documents through electronic document management systems.
- Review documentation and drawings prior to issue, acting as the final quality check.
- Ensure external documentation complies with client requirements and project standards.
- Maintain document issue registers and electronic filing systems.
- Create and set up projects in line with internal procedures.
- Support project teams with document formatting and administrative tasks.
- Assist with audits of project filing systems and quality assurance processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, clients and third-party stakeholders.
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are achieved.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in a Document Controller role.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders across teams and organisations.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Professional approach with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
