Document Controller

We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our infrastructure and construction projects. As Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing project documentation throughout its lifecycle, ensuring information is accurately recorded, controlled, distributed and archived in line with company procedures and client requirements. Working closely with project teams, suppliers and stakeholders, you'll maintain document registers, support the production of client deliverables, track document status, prepare site documentation packs and ensure all records are managed securely and compliantly, including adherence to GDPR requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a Document Controller role within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or a similar project-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of document control processes, document management systems and quality procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams, with experience using SharePoint and PDF management software.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good communication skills with the confidence to liaise with project teams, suppliers and clients.
  • Working knowledge of GDPR and information management best practices.
  • HNC in Information Management or a related discipline is desirable.
