Job Summary
The Document Controller will be responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and adherence to company standards and client requirements for AUREOS INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES LIMITED on behalf of Taylor Woodrow / Aureos JV for Washwood Heath Depot for HS2.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the established comprehensive document control system for the project-related documentation including all digital tools.
- Receive, log, track, and distribute all incoming and outgoing project documents, including but not limited to management plans, drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, TQ's, and correspondence.
- Ensure all documents are correctly filed, indexed, and easily retrievable in accordance with JV's and client procedures.
- Maintain document registers and logs, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
- Control access to documents, ensuring only authorized personnel can view or modify sensitive information.
- Collaborate with the project team and suppliers to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
- Implement and maintain document numbering, revision control, and version management systems.
- Assist in the preparation of document control procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct regular audits of the document control system to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Support project close-out activities, including the archiving and handover of project documentation.

Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Document Controller, preferably within the infrastructure, construction, or engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in document control software and systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, ProjectWise, MS Office Suite).
- Strong understanding of document management principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations is a plus.
- A relevant diploma or degree in business administration, information management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with HS2 is desirable but not essential.
