About The Role
We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Document Controller to support the delivery of a major high-rise retrofit programme.
This role will be responsible for managing, maintaining and distributing project documentation across a complex and heavily regulated environment. With a strong emphasis on Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) works and legislative compliance, you will play a vital role in ensuring project information, drawings and records are accurately controlled and accessible to project stakeholders.
Working closely with operational, technical and delivery teams, you'll help maintain robust document control processes that support compliance, quality and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project documentation using SharePoint, Asset360 and digital daybooks.
- Control document revisions and ensure accurate distribution of updated information.
- Issue drawings, technical documents and project updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain document registers and audit trails in line with project requirements.
- Ensure all project records remain accurate, current and compliant.
- Support the management of FRA-related documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Review drawings and technical information to confirm correct version control.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure document management processes are consistently followed.

About You
- Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction, planned works, refurbishment, retrofit, architecture or a similar technical environment.
- Strong understanding of document control procedures, version control and information management.
- Experience working with systems such as SharePoint, Asset360 or comparable document management platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- IT savvy and confident managing large volumes of project information.
- Comfortable working within compliance-driven and legislatively focused projects.
- Proactive, professional and able to maintain control of documentation across multiple workstreams.
