Job Description

LV Logistics have an exciting opportunity for a Document Controller / HSQE Administrator to join our team at our Thornaby office! You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and receive a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

The Role

This dual role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach. You will support both our Document Control and HSQE functions, ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant, and well-maintained while contributing to wider safety, quality, and compliance activities across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a systematic and comprehensive document management system.
  • Assist with updating, formatting, and controlling Business Management System documents, processes, and procedures.
  • Support internal Subject Matter Experts with the creation, formatting and revision of documents held within the LV Logistics Global Management System.
  • Ensure that electronic record files as required, are maintained in good order to comply with Quality Management requirements.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of electronic generated documents and databases through the competent use of various software packages, i.e. SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of Document Control processes and where necessary, identify and implement improvements to maintain DC efficiency.
  • Support with the completion of Pre-qualification and Tendering documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to support compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Carry out reasonable management requests and ensure safety of yourself and others at all times.

About You

  • Previous experience in document control, administration, HSQE support, or similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly in writing and in person.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and electronic document management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
