Hill McGlynn Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected construction contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality refurbishment, fit-out, and construction projects across London and the South East.
About the Role
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an organised and detail-focused Document Controller to join their team at their Chatham office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction document control experience who is confident using Procore or a similar document management system.

Daily Responsibilities
- Manage all project documentation through the Procore platform.
- Upload, issue, and maintain drawings, technical documents, and specifications.
- Ensure all document revisions are accurately recorded and distributed.
- Monitor document approval workflows and chase outstanding information.
- Maintain accurate document registers and project records.
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure documentation is up to date.
- Ensure documents comply with company procedures and project requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to project delivery teams.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry.
- Experience using Procore is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
