Document Controller / Senior Document Controller

Hertfordshire / London

Are you an experienced Document / Senior Document Controller looking for your next opportunity within the construction industry?

We're looking for a proactive and organised Document Controller to join an incredible, collaborative team that will be supporting the project teams and ensuring information is managed accurately, efficiently and in line with company standards.

You'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of project information, working closely with the Information Manager, Technical Managers, consultants and contractors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining project documentation, including drawings, reports and specifications
  • Running Asite daily, ensuring documents are correctly classified, named, version controlled and quality checked
  • Monitoring document workflows, reviews and approvals and highlighting delays or bottlenecks
  • Producing reports covering document uploads, approvals, outstanding reviews and workflow status
  • Supporting the implementation of Asite workflows and forms across projects
  • Providing Asite user support and assisting with training for internal teams and external consultants
  • Supporting audits and continuous improvement of document control processes
  • Supporting the Information Manager in driving best practice across document management.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in Document Control within a construction/project environment
  • Confident using Asite or any other CDEs and managing document workflows
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with project teams, consultants and contractors
  • Able to identify issues, delays and opportunities for process improvement
  • Confident providing system support and helping others adopt new processes
  • Proactive, collaborative and able to manage competing priorities
