Join Our Growing Modular Services Team
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Document Controller to join our expanding Modular Services team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of complex projects across design, manufacturing, testing, commissioning and installation activities. As the central point of contact for project documentation, you'll ensure information is accurately managed, controlled and distributed throughout the project lifecycle.
You'll work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Quality teams, Manufacturing teams and clients, helping to maintain efficient document flow, support compliance requirements and ensure critical project information is accessible when needed.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Document Controller, you'll:
- Manage project documentation across a variety of client and internal document management systems
- Upload, track and maintain project documentation in line with company and client requirements
- Liaise with clients, project teams and external stakeholders to ensure documents are reviewed and processed efficiently
- Edit, format and maintain technical documentation to agreed standards
- Produce and update document registers, reports and tracking tools
- Monitor document status and chase outstanding approvals where required
- Store, retrieve and archive project documentation accurately
- Distribute controlled documentation to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems
- Create and manage document templates and standard forms
- Ensure confidential information is handled appropriately and in line with company procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance document control processes and efficiency

Essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office and general IT skills
- Ability to quickly learn and use new document management systems
- Ability to manage our internal document management system (ACC Forma)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment

Desirable
- Experience with document management systems such as Procore, BIM 360
- Previous experience in a Document Control, Project Administration or similar role
- Experience using electronic document management systems (EDMS)
- Experience within engineering, construction, manufacturing or project-based environments
- Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues
