BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Document Controller to join our Construction Segment, based at our Foxford School project in Coventry.
Making Possible
- Set up project folders, assign permissions, and complete system configuration.
- Conduct QA checks on incoming design information against BAM and client requirements, liaising with design teams to resolve issues.
- Review deliverables against TIDP/MIDP, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance.
- Audit project systems for usage and ensure documents are filed and archived in line with company standards.
- Train internal and external teams on document control procedures and systems, producing guidance documents and help sheets.
- Upload BAM project documentation to relevant systems and assist with information gathering for handover.
- Support Design, Site, and Project Managers with document control, administration, and reporting.
- Collate information, prepare reports, update trackers, and chase outstanding drawings, documentation, RFIs, reviews, and issues.
- Chase subcontractors for required paperwork, including health and safety documentation.
- Assist with m-site and coordinate delivery notes for GRN processing.
- Produce signage and manage printing, laminating, filing, and stationery orders.
- Undertake general administration and provide additional project support as required.

What do you bring to the role?
- Knowledge of ISO 19650
- Appreciation of the RIBA stages
- Document controller experience
- Proficient in Microsoft (especially Excel)
- Experience on a construction site
- Organizational and time management skills
