Document Controller (Architecture & Engineering)

Full-Time, Hybrid, Central London
£40,000-£45,000

A vibrant architecture practice is looking for an experienced Document Controller to join their growing team. This is a varied position which combines document control, project administration, as well as some wider team coordination duties.

The role involves overall responsibility for document control and project administration across a range of high-profile projects, as well as supporting Directors and project teams with general administration.

The role requires ensuring project information is accurate, compliant, and up to date, and you will be a key point of contact for internal teams, clients, and consultants. The ideal candidate will also have experience finding creative, technically-sound, and forward-thinking solutions to streamline project administration processes, and has the confidence to lead the implementation of new systems practice-wide.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for document control and project administration across a range of high-profile projects.
  • Support Directors and project teams with general administration.
  • Ensure project information is accurate, compliant, and up to date.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, clients, and consultants.
  • Find creative, technically-sound, and forward-thinking solutions to streamline project administration processes.
  • Lead the implementation of new systems practice-wide.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the built environment.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with document management systems.
