Location: Heathrow, London
Contract: Fixed-term, approximately 6–9 months
Job Type: Full-time

About the role

Pro Steel Engineering is looking for a proactive and organised document controller/admin to join our project team at Heathrow on a fixed-term basis.
This is a varied role combining general project administration with document control support. You'll work closely with our Project, Commercial and Operational teams, helping to keep project information organised and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the project.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting document control, including scanning, filing, archiving and maintaining records.
  • Managing electronic and paper-based project documentation.
  • Preparing, distributing and tracking project documents.
  • Maintaining accurate project trackers, spreadsheets and company records.
  • Providing general administrative support to Project, Commercial and Operational teams.
  • Handling correspondence and general office administration.
  • Chasing outstanding information and documentation where required.
  • Supporting the administration of Airside pass applications.
  • Providing ad hoc administrative support to the wider project team.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous administration, project support or document control experience.
  • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Can manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • Has good communication skills and is comfortable following up with others for information.
  • Is reliable, adaptable and comfortable working in a busy project environment.

Previous experience within construction, engineering, document control or an airport environment would be beneficial but isn't essential.

The opportunity

The position is expected to last approximately 6–9 months, linked to the duration of the project, and will be based at our Heathrow office.

You'll join a growing engineering business and work closely with the team delivering our Heathrow projects, with exposure across Project Management, Commercial and Operations.
