The Role
As a Document Production Specialist, you will provide high-quality document production support to legal and business services teams across the firm. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will create, format, edit and manage complex legal and business documents to tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional standards of accuracy and client service. Alongside document production responsibilities, you will support workflow coordination activities when required, helping to ensure efficient service delivery and effective management of workloads across the team.
Essential Skills & Experience
Document Production & Technical Expertise
- Previous experience in a Document Production role within a professional services environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
- Experience editing, formatting and producing complex documents and presentations to a high standard.
- Strong PDF manipulation skills, including the creation and management of document bundles.
- Experience with document cleaning tools and DocXTools.
- Strong working knowledge of iManage.
- Familiarity with Visual Files 2 and EveryFile would be advantageous.
Document Management & Quality
- Fast and accurate audio typing and transcription capability.
- Good understanding of legal terminology and legal document production requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
- Experience working within brand guidelines, templates, and document standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining consistency and accuracy.
Communication & Team Collaboration
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with colleagues across multiple teams and functions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively to meet deadlines and manage fluctuating workloads.
- Willingness to share knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong client service focus with a responsive and professional approach.
