Job title: Digital Evidence Reviewer
Duration: 6 months initial term
Pay: £150 per day PAYE (see additional details under essential requirements)
Location: 50% in-office attendee monthly in their Stratford, London office
About the organisation
Our client is an independent regulatory body in the UK responsible for ensuring the financial markets work well for the consumers and the economy, promoting market integrity and effective competition.
About the team
The department ensures that suspected wrongdoing in the wholesale financial markets is investigated and where serious misconduct by firms and/or individuals is identified they are held to account. Their investigation teams undertake regulatory, criminal and civil investigations spanning insider dealing, market manipulation, misleading statements by listed companies and systems and controls failings.
About the role
This role will involve working in an investigation case team reviewing large and diverse volumes of data within our eDiscovery platform EDT.

Responsibilities
- Reviewing diverse data within our eDiscovery tool (EDT) to identify probative or undermining material.
- Collaborate with the investigation team in terms of evidential findings both orally and in writing.
Which skills are required?
Minimum
- Demonstrable experience in financial regulatory investigations
- Experience in conducting Document Review using an eDiscovery tool
- Experience of succinctly communicating review findings both orally and in writing.
Essential
- Ability to assess and examine voluminous and data-heavy bodies of documents in cases, exercising judgement on the evidence
- Technically adept in the use of Microsoft Office tools and preferably eDiscovery software.
- For Lawyer applicants you must hold a valid practising certificate issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority for England and Wales (if a solicitor), or the General Council of the Bar for England and Wales (if a barrister) or a similar internationally recognised qualification would also be preferable. For this, we can pay up to £195 per day.
