Job Details

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the delivery of document services across print, scanning, document production, mailroom and delivery operations. You will be responsible for ensuring work is completed accurately, securely and on time, while providing an excellent service to customers and colleagues.

Working closely with the Document Services Manager, you will manage your own workload, operate a range of document production equipment and support the smooth day-to-day running of the service. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering high-quality work and is committed to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Producing print, scanning and document production work to agreed quality standards and deadlines.
  • Operating print, scanning and finishing equipment, including binding, laminating and document preparation.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, courier services and internal deliveries.
  • Prioritising workloads and handling urgent or time-sensitive requests.
  • Responding to customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information securely.
  • Supporting service improvements and new ways of working.
  • Ensuring compliance with information security and health and safety requirements.
  • Working flexibly across document services operations to meet business needs.

A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.

This is a fully site-based role and requires attendance at the designated work location five days per week. Due to the nature of the role, remote or hybrid working is not available.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Previous experience within a document services, print room, reprographics, scanning, mailroom or post room environment.
  • Experience working to deadlines, service levels or performance targets.
  • Experience using print, scanning, finishing or mail handling equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Good understanding of document production, scanning and mailroom processes.
  • Ability to follow procedures and resolve routine operational issues.
  • Strong team-working skills with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Good Microsoft 365 skills and confidence learning new systems.
  • Flexible, reliable and proactive approach to work.
