Location: Swindon

Workplace: Onsite

Employment Type: Full-time, 12-month contract

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 08:30 - 16:40)

Pay Rate: GBP 14.50 - GBP 16.41 per hour (GBP 28,372.50 per annum equivalent)

Position Summary

We are seeking an Admin Documentation Specialist to support the Engineering Operations team in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will oversee maintenance documentation, vendor coordination, and administrative tasks to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation: Draft, format, edit, and update SOPs, Work Instructions, forms, and technical records in compliance with site procedures and GMP/GDP standards.
  • Vendor and Purchasing Coordination: Request vendor quotes, raise/track purchase requisitions, arrange contractor site training, and schedule site work.
  • CMMS Administration: Maintain maintenance records, manage equipment spares data, and construct maintenance procedures from technical documentation.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure service reports, certificates, and compliance records are fully completed and inspection-ready.

Requirements And Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in administration, technical documentation, or engineering support.
  • Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical writing skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with document management systems.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Documentation Practice) is advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification in business administration or a technical subject.
