The Role

We're looking for an experienced Domain Architect / Delivery Manager with deep expertise in the UK public sector to design and deliver scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions, while ensuring delivery stays on track, on budget, and aligned with government standards. This is a blended role for someone equally comfortable shaping architectural direction and running the day to day delivery that turns it into working services.

You'll work closely with business, technology, and delivery stakeholders across government departments and agencies, translating strategic objectives into architectural designs and delivery plans that enable innovation, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

This role requires active SC clearance.

What You'll Do

  • Design end to end cloud based solutions, leveraging hyperscaler services and industry best practice
  • Develop architecture roadmaps aligned with departmental priorities, technology standards, and enterprise architecture principles
  • Lead and manage delivery across applications, data, and infrastructure domains, using agile or hybrid delivery methods as appropriate
  • Ensure solutions align with government service standards, GDS design principles, and relevant public sector frameworks
  • Provide technical leadership, governance, and architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations across multi supplier and multi department environments
  • Advise on integration patterns between legacy public sector systems and modern digital platforms
  • Support governance processes, including service assessments, assurance gateways, and reporting to programme boards
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance citizen outcomes and operational efficiency

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
