Domestic Abuse Outreach Support Worker at Key Unlocking Futures

At Key Unlocking Futures, part of Progress Housing Group, we help people across Lancashire build better lives. For over 30 years, we’ve supported children, young people and families through difficult times with compassionate, practical services that make a real difference.

We’re looking for a compassionate and resilient Domestic Abuse Outreach Support Worker to provide high-quality, trauma-informed support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse. You’ll combine practical assistance, advocacy and emotional support to help survivors stay safe, rebuild confidence and move forward with greater independence.

Your Role as a Domestic Abuse Outreach Support Worker for Key:

As a Domestic Abuse Outreach Support Worker, you will manage a varied caseload and provide specialist one-to-one, group-based and community outreach support to people experiencing, or at risk of, domestic abuse. You will assess safeguarding concerns and wider needs, complete risk assessments, and develop personalised support and safety plans that reduce harm and help prevent crisis.

Working closely with housing, health, children’s services, adult safeguarding, criminal justice and voluntary-sector partners, you will help survivors access the right support at the right time. You will support people to navigate refuge, safe house, move-on and independent accommodation, sustain tenancies, connect with community services and achieve positive outcomes around recovery, health, finances, education, employment and life skills.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
