As a Domestic Appliance Service Engineer at Ace Appliances, you will carry out diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of domestic appliances in customers’ homes and at our Acton base. You will manage field service visits across the West London area, ensuring timely arrival, accurate fault identification, and high-quality repairs. Daily activities include completing service reports, maintaining tools and van stock, installing new appliances, and safely removing old units. You will communicate clearly with customers, provide practical advice on appliance use and care, and work closely with office staff to schedule jobs and follow up on parts and repeat visits.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the London Area, United Kingdom.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in appliance repair, diagnostics, and general maintenance & repair of domestic white goods.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and handle queries professionally.
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, for explaining technical issues, documenting work, and coordinating with the office team.
  • Relevant technical training or certification in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working with hand tools, test equipment, and manufacturer documentation, with strong attention to safety and compliance.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the West London area.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage workloads, and adapt to new technology and processes.
