Dorset HealthCare is looking for two Domestic Assistants to join the friendly Facilities team, based at Winton Neighbourhood Health Centre.

Role Description

The role of the Domestic Assistant includes general cleaning duties of all areas within the site. You will be expected to clean to a high standard. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our supportive team. Training is provided as part of your role as well as ongoing support within a team environment. All uniform is supplied.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Main Duties:

  • Vacuuming
  • Mopping
  • General cleaning/damp dusting
  • Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, clinic rooms
  • Emptying bins
  • Use of mechanical floor cleaning machines

Role Requirements:

  • Working as a team
  • A flexible approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to use your own initiative

This role involves working extra hours as able - to cover sickness and staff holidays.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Hours: 20 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day - out of hours
  • Location: Winton Neighbourhood Health Centre, 31 Alma Road, Bournemouth, Dorset BH9 1BP
  • Interview: Date to be confirmed
  • Pay: Good pay rates, 27 days annual leave per year to start plus BH and weekend enhancements if required
