Housekeeping Domestic Assistant – Ashlea Court
Location: Ashlea Court, Church Lane, Waltham, Grimsby, DN37 0ES
Hours: 22 Hours/Week with alternating weekends
Salary: £12.71 Per Hour
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (preferably in a care or healthcare setting)
- Understanding of cleanliness standards in a residential care environment
- Respectful, compassionate, and considerate when working around vulnerable adults
- Physical ability to carry out manual tasks and stand for long periods

Your Role
As a Domestic Cleaner you will be a vital member of the team maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks across bedrooms, communal areas, and care facilities while ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas (lounges, dining rooms, hallways)
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures in line with care home policies
- Dispose of waste safely and in accordance with health regulations
- Restock cleaning supplies and inform management of low inventory
- Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Participate in training relevant to the role (e.g. COSHH, safeguarding, infection control)
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (preferably in a care or healthcare setting)
