Longlands Care Home is situated in Daventry, offering a happy and safe living environment where our residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life.
Our Team of friendly and committed staff provide the highest level of care, specialising in supporting people living with Dementia.
With our great accommodation and facilities and a programme of activities, our care home aims to provide a home from home atmosphere in which our residents can feel comfortable, content, and very well cared for.

What will you be doing?
- You take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments where people feel comfortable, respected within the home.
- Whether you have previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or domestic services, or are looking to bring your skills into a rewarding care environment, you'll be committed to delivering high standards and making a positive difference to residents' daily lives.
- A kind, caring, and compassionate approach is important, as you'll be working in the homes of vulnerable adults and helping to create an environment where they can feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
- You'll understand the importance of treating residents, visitors, and colleagues with dignity and respect at all times.
About You
- A reliable and hardworking individual with experience in a housekeeping, cleaning, or similar role, who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Comfortable using cleaning equipment, methods, and products safely and effectively, with previous experience, or the ability to learn, how to use industrial cleaning tools and equipment.
- A good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards, including the importance of following procedures and COSHH regulations, is essential.
- A positive and patient approach is essential, together with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to build positive relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues, always treating others with empathy, kindness, dignity, and respect.
- An awareness of equality, diversity, and the varying needs of the people who access our services is important.
- Most importantly, you'll understand the difference that a clean, safe, and welcoming environment can make to the people who call our care home their home, and take pride in helping them feel comfortable, respected, and well supported every day.

Unfortunately, this role does not meet the legal requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. We cannot accept individuals on full-time sponsorship who are seeking this as a second job or as their main job, as care is no longer classified as a Skilled Worker occupation.
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Children and Adults Barred List check.
