Help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents living independently in our Extra Care community.

Guided by our values of Trust, Kindness and Hope, we're looking for a reliable and caring Domestic & Catering Assistant to join our team at Tan Y Fron Extra Care Scheme in Llandudno.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll help ensure residents enjoy a clean, welcoming environment and a positive dining experience. Every task you undertake will contribute to the wellbeing, comfort and independence of the people who live within our Extra Care community.

About The Role
Our Extra Care schemes help people live independently in their own homes while having access to support when they need it. Food and community play an important role in helping residents feel connected and supported. For many residents, mealtimes are not just about enjoying good food but also about socialising and being part of their community.

As a Domestic & Catering Assistant, you'll support the smooth day-to-day running of Tan Y Fron by helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food service. You'll assist with meal preparation, serving food and maintaining communal areas, helping to create a welcoming environment for residents, visitors and colleagues alike.
What You'll Be Doing
You can expect to:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the scheme.
- Support infection prevention and hygiene standards.
- Assist with food preparation and meal service.
- Help maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
- Follow food safety, COSHH and health and safety procedures.
- Complete routine checks and records as required.
- Work collaboratively with scheme colleagues to provide a positive dining experience.
- Engage positively with residents, visitors and colleagues.
- Contribute to a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment for everyone.

What You'll Bring
We're particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Previous experience in a cleaning, domestic, hospitality or catering role.
- An understanding of health and safety and COSHH requirements.
- Experience working as part of a team in a customer-focused environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- A willingness to learn and undertake relevant training.
- Experience within a housing, care or support setting would be beneficial but is not essential.
