About the Role
At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Domestic Training Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality cleaning services across UHNM. Working closely with the Facilities Management Team, you will lead the training and development of domestic staff, ensuring compliance with the National Standards of Cleanliness, Trust policies, infection prevention requirements, and health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver inductions, refresher training, competency assessments, and workplace coaching
- Monitor training compliance, maintain accurate records, and identify development needs
- Support staff to achieve high standards and contribute to continuous service improvement across both hospital sites
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and managers
- Support in cleaning methods, COSHH, health and safety, infection prevention, and the safe use of equipment
- Support the allocation of trained staff across service areas, contributing to service improvement, and assist with the induction and development of new starters
