Salary: Competitive

Some Opportunities Allow You to Join a Care Home. This Opportunity Allows You to Help Create One.

The Opportunity

Acomb Manor is preparing to welcome its very first residents, and we're looking for an exceptional Housekeeper to join our opening team.

As part of the trusted St Mary's Care Group, we're creating more than a luxury care home. We're creating a warm, welcoming environment where people feel comfortable, safe and proud to call it home.

That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because of people who take pride in every detail. The freshly made bed. The sparkling windows. The welcoming lounge. The beautifully presented environment that helps residents, families and visitors feel instantly at ease.

We're looking for someone who understands that housekeeping is about far more than cleaning. It's about creating an atmosphere where residents can live happily, comfortably and with dignity.

As Housekeeper, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the high standards and luxury environment that define Acomb Manor.

You'll help ensure every bedroom, lounge, corridor and communal area reflects the warmth, attention to detail and pride that our residents deserve.

Working closely with the wider team, you'll help create an environment where people genuinely enjoy spending time and feel truly at home.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
