Bowburn Manor is an exciting new luxury care home preparing to open its doors in Durham.
As part of the St Mary's Care Group, we're creating a place where residents enjoy comfort, dignity, companionship and exceptional care.
We're looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our founding team and help create an environment that reflects the warmth and quality of our home.

The Role
As Housekeeper, you'll play a key part in ensuring Bowburn Manor always looks and feels its best.
From beautifully maintained bedrooms and welcoming communal areas to ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention, your work will have a direct impact on residents, relatives and visitors every day.

What You'll Do
- Create Exceptional Standards
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home.
- Help Residents Feel at Home
- Ensure bedrooms and communal spaces remain welcoming, comfortable and well cared for.
- Support Resident Wellbeing
- Recognise the important contribution a safe, clean and organised environment makes to everyday life.
- Maintain Supplies and Equipment
- Monitor cleaning stocks, report faults and help ensure equipment remains safe and effective.
- Promote Health and Safety
- Follow infection prevention, COSHH and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Work Together
- Build positive relationships with residents, visitors and colleagues and contribute to the home's supportive culture.
What We're Looking For
- Housekeeping, hospitality, domestic or cleaning experience is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- A positive and proactive approach.
- Pride in maintaining high standards.
- A friendly and caring personality.
