Imagine combining the clinical care you love with the excitement and reward of building your own business.
Specsavers is offering an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Audiologist or Hearing Aid Dispenser to become the Domiciliary Audiology Partner for Southampton and the surrounding communities. With an established foundation, significant growth potential, and the backing of one of the world's leading optical and hearing care brands, this is your chance to create something truly special. As more people choose to access hearing care from the comfort of their own homes, demand for domiciliary services across Southampton continues to grow.
Why this territory?
This is an exciting domiciliary audiology territory on the South Coast. Southampton sits at the heart of the business, but the territory extends far beyond the city, covering a diverse mix of thriving towns, coastal communities and rural villages.
Spanning locations including Southampton, Winchester, Eastleigh, Fareham, Gosport, Havant, Hedge End, Totton, Romsey, Hythe, Waterlooville, Bishops Waltham, New Alresford and the wider Hampshire countryside, alongside the communities of Newport, Ryde, Cowes, Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor on the Isle of Wight, the territory provides access to a large and varied customer base.
The area offers exceptional potential for growth. With a growing and ageing population, increasing demand for healthcare delivered at home, and a mix of urban, coastal and rural communities where access to hearing care can be challenging, domiciliary services are becoming more important than ever. Many customers across the territory value the convenience and personalised support that home visits provide, creating significant opportunities to build long-term relationships and a thriving business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
