About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and committed individuals to join our team of Domiciliary Care Assistants at Richmond Village, Richmond Drive, Off Maple Drive, DE72 2EA.
**Job Title: Domiciliary Care Assistant Location: Richmond Village, Richmond Drive, Off Maple Drive, DE72 2EA Contract: Permanent Part-Time On-Site: No travel required Available Shifts: Days (7-11 am) & Twilight (7 pm–7 am) Shift Pattern: Rotating with alternate weekends Salary: £13.10 per hour with excellent benefits Care Rating: "Rated Good overall and Outstanding in Caring – join a team where staff feel valued, supported, and truly #LoveWorkingHere."

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents while growing in a rewarding career.
We are seeking assistants with varied experience—from domiciliary, residential, nursing, to dementia care—as we strive to deliver exceptional support. Every day will be unique, shaped by the diverse needs of our residents.
Days Will Typically Include:
- Supporting residents with personal care tasks — such as bathing, dressing, continence care — respecting their dignity and autonomy within their own homes.
- Assisting with mealtimes, whether by serving meals in their apartments or supporting mobility during transfers or hoist-assisted moves.
- Engaging residents in physical and mental activities, such as hobbies or structured social programmes in the village.
- Responding to emergency care alerts when the care system is activated.
- Working closely with the Domiciliary Care Manager and other professionals, including GPs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and chiropodists.
- Maintaining detailed records of care provided and any health changes to ensure best practice and safeguarding.

Requirements
Essential Skills & Attributes:

Qualifications:
Ideally, you will have experience working in a care, residential, or dementia setting, or hold a level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (though full training and development are provided). If you have no prior qualifications or experience, we’ll support you every step of the way.
