Role Description
This is a full- or part-time, on-site role based in either Bournemouth or Poole, and the role requires the ability to drive. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Carers will promote independence, dignity, and comfort, offering companionship and emotional support while following individualised care plans. The role also involves:
- Monitoring changes in people’s health and wellbeing
- Accurately recording observations
- Promptly reporting concerns to senior staff
Driving between visits, maintaining punctuality, and upholding high standards of professionalism, safeguarding, and confidentiality are essential parts of this position.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide compassionate, person-centred care, including personal care, practical support, and emotional reassurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with supported people, families, and colleagues.
- Reliable driving skills with a valid driving license and access to a suitable vehicle for travel between visits.
- Good organisational skills, including time management, record-keeping, and attention to detail in following care plans.
- Understanding of professional boundaries, safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety in a care environment.
- Previous experience in domiciliary or social care is beneficial; relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care) are an advantage, though not a must.
- Willingness to undertake training, work flexible hours (including some evenings and weekends), and adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
