Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Doorperson to join our team. If you're passionate about hospitality and seeking an opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as the first point of contact for guests, providing a professional and welcoming presence while maintaining control of the venue entrance.
  • Manage access to the venue by monitoring guest entry and exit, ensuring admission is in line with company policies and licensing requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment by remaining vigilant, identifying potential risks and taking appropriate action to prevent incidents from escalating.
  • Build positive relationships with guests while confidently managing challenging situations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Monitor occupancy levels and support the management team in controlling capacity when required.
  • Work closely with management and the front-of-house team to ensure the smooth flow of guests into and out of the venue.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the entrance and surrounding areas to maintain security, cleanliness, and a positive guest environment.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, escalating concerns to management or the relevant authorities where necessary.
  • Assist in enforcing company policies, licensing conditions, and health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Doorperson, Security, or similar role within hospitality.
  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor License.
  • Positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.
  • Flexible approach to work.
