The Role Mission & Responsibilities:
As the .Net Developer you will be responsible for working with us on enterprise procurement solutions that support critical business operations that will work towards supporting our customers and continued growth.
Your role will focus on maintaining and improving existing and where required to develop new web applications, serverless applications and tools based on specifications from business requirements and support issues. This will involve front-end code in AngularJS and Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, backend code in .NET Framework and.NET 8/10 as well as database changes through EF migrations and SQL.
We are currently undertaking a migration from AngularJS to modern Angular which the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring code is robust, maintainable and secure in line with OWASP best practices and has appropriate unit test coverage.
- Ensuring code is modular and reused where appropriate, e.g. creating and maintaining NuGet packages and Angular modules and ensuring 3rd party packages are kept up-to-date and tested.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, user story refinement, specification development, and estimations.
- Resolve support issues, manage tickets, troubleshoot and debug issues, fixes and ensure deployments in a timely manner with excellent customer satisfaction from stakeholders. Ensuring tickets in Jira are correct and up to date.
- Monitoring alerts and ensuring issues are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure technical documentation on Confluence is relevant and up to date.

The Successful Candidate:
The successful candidate will have strong experience with C#, Microsoft Azure, and SQL Server, along with a disciplined approach to software engineering, coding standards, and solution design. You will collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and fellow developers to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable applications within the procurement domain.
Required experience:
- C# development (.NET Framework and.Net8+)
- Database experience (SQL Server/EF, other RDBMS or ORMs accepted).
- Frontend development (JS/TS) (AngularJS/Angular preferred but Vue, React accepted).
- Cloud development experience (Azure preferred but AWS/GCP accepted).
- Understanding of SOLID, OO Design Patterns.
- Unit testing experience (XUnit, NUnit, MSTest)
Beneficial experience:
- Azure development (FaaS, PaaS)
- PowerShell
- IaC (Bicep/ARM or Terraform)
- UI Testing (Cypress, Playwright)
- Azure DevOps
- Jira or similar
