Job Title: .Net Developer
Location: Leeds, UK
Employment type: contract (Inside Ir35)
Job Description
Main purpose of job:
To provide development of new and existing, in-house, applications. To take an active role in the architecture, design and development of applications. To mentor junior members of the development team. Fully understands technical problems and issues with business applications and manages resolution.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Undertake various development projects and ensure that these are implemented to agreed timescales.
- Provide input on architecture and design for the larger more complex projects.
- Ensure that development standards and conventions are adhered to throughout all projects.
- Ensure that all requests are dealt with promptly, and prioritised where necessary.
- Mentor other members of the team.

Required skills and knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of C#.net/.Net Coe/ASP.NET MVC/Javascript/TypeScript/React/Web Api
- Good knowledge of Azure/AWS (Any cloud platform)
- Advanced knowledge of object orientation and layered application architecture
- Experience of developing enterprise level applications
- Experience of working within a structured software development/delivery team
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Experience of developing using a TDD/BDD approach
- Keen interest in learning new technologies and in sharing technical knowledge
- Work with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver solutions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Experience of working a regulated financial services environment

- ReactJS/JASON/ SQL Server Programming (stored procs, views, functions, etc)
- Entity Framework (or similar ORM)
- Service Oriented Architecture
- Scrum/Agile Methodologies
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Expert understanding and thorough working knowledge of solution design and architecture industry standards
- Ability to understand both business and technical drivers
- Ability to model data using industry standards
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies – Ideally Agile
- Expert Level.NET C# Coding. .NET Development (.Net, .Net Core, MVC, React JS, Type Script, Web APIs, REST, Azure)
- Azure DevOps, GIT Branching Models, CI/CD, SQL Server, Automated Test. SOA Design and Integration Practices. SOLID object oriented design principles. Automated Deployment, Enterprise Service Bus (RabbitMQ)
