#.NET Developer

Remote | UK

18-person AI SaaS | Government | Product Engineering

£45,000 - £58,000

One of our clients is looking for a .NET Developer to join a small, high-performing engineering team building AI software used by government and highly regulated organisations.

This isn't another SaaS startup building "nice to have" software. They're solving genuinely difficult engineering problems around information governance, compliance, privacy and security, where customers depend on the platform every day.

Why this opportunity?

With over five years of successfully delivering for government and enterprise customers, the business is now entering its next phase of growth. You'll work alongside the CTO, helping shape the product and delivering meaningful impact from day one.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Culture

  • High standards.
  • Low ego.
  • Good people.

The team values engineers who communicate well, take ownership, and genuinely enjoy solving problems together. AI-assisted development is encouraged, but engineering judgment always comes first.

This probably isn't for you if...

  • You're looking for a front-end role.
  • You'd rather spend weeks debating architecture than shipping software.
  • Your next move is into engineering management.
  • You prefer large corporate environments with lots of process.

If you're looking for a role where you'll have genuine influence, work alongside an experienced CTO, and help shape the future of an ambitious AI business, I'd love to tell you more.
