About The Role

Pertemps Glasgow Perm Hub seeks part-time event staff for the Dough Hyde Event, a prestigious gallery occasion in Edinburgh on Saturday 22 August, from 13:00 to 17:00. This four-hour assignment pays £13.25 per hour. Your duties include warmly greeting attendees, proactively offering refreshments, and ensuring glasses remain topped up throughout the afternoon. Maintaining a pristine, orderly space is essential, as is assisting with glass washing at the conclusion. The dress code requires a white shirt or blouse with black trousers or skirt, plus polished footwear. Suitable candidates will possess strong customer service skills, a polished presentation, and confidence approaching guests. JOB DETAILS

THE ROLE

  • Welcoming guests with a friendly and professional smile
  • Confidently approaching clients and offering drinks
  • Keeping guests topped up with drinks throughout the event
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and uncluttered environment
  • Assisting with washing glasses at the end of the event
  • Providing professional and attentive customer service throughout the event
  • Maintaining a smart and professional appearance at all times

About You

  • Immaculate and professional appearance
  • Articulate, confident and comfortable approaching clients
  • Excellent eye contact and communication skills
  • Friendly, approachable and professional manner
  • Well-groomed with clean, brushed hair
  • Tattoos must be fully covered while working
  • Must not have a noticeable smell of smoke or food
  • Previous hospitality, events or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable working in a luxury and client-facing environment
