Compensation: $103,600 - $138,100 per year
This range reflects Carestream’s good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.
Position Summary:
The Downstream Marketing Specialist will lead strategic marketing initiatives that drive product revenue growth. This role focuses on translating upstream product strategies into actionable downstream marketing programs, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market dynamics. The successful candidate will develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, manage account-based marketing programs, and optimize marketing performance through data-driven decision-making.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to make a significant impact on product revenue growth and market positioning. The Downstream Marketing Specialist will work in a collaborative environment with talented cross-functional teams and have the opportunity to influence marketing strategy at a strategic level. Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Development and Execution
- Participate in the development and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Lead campaign planning, content creation, messaging, and execution across multiple channels, including digital, events, and partner marketing.
- Lead Demand/Lead Generation Campaigns for direct and channel sales, developing targeted strategies that drive qualified pipeline.
- Own Lead Management systems and processes to ensure efficient lead routing, nurturing, and conversion tracking.

Account-Based Marketing Leadership
- Lead Account Based Marketing and Channel Marketing Programs with a focus on strategic account targeting and personalized engagement strategies.
- Develop and implement ABM strategies that align sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue from high-value accounts.
- Coordinate with sales teams to identify target accounts and create customized marketing programs that address specific account needs and buying cycles.
Regional and Channel Strategy
- Lead Regional Tradeshow strategy and plan execution in coordination with Trade Show Coordinator to maximize lead generation and brand visibility.
- Develop channel marketing programs that support partner enablement and drive co-marketing opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Operations to deliver integrated marketing programs that support pipeline growth and revenue objectives.
- Work closely with sales leadership to understand market dynamics, competitive positioning, and customer pain points to inform marketing strategy.
- Ensure consistent messaging and value proposition delivery across all marketing channels and partner communications.
Market Analysis and Optimization
- Participate in analysis of market trends and customer insights to optimize messaging and positioning for target audiences.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and inform product positioning strategies.
- Develop buyer personas and customer journey maps to guide marketing program development and execution.
Performance Measurement and Reporting
- Drive performance measurement through KPIs, reporting, and ROI analysis to inform future strategies and optimize marketing spend.
- Establish and track marketing metrics aligned with business objectives, including lead volume, lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution.
- Provide regular reporting to leadership on campaign performance, market trends, and recommendations for strategic adjustments.
Partner Communications and Enablement
- Manage partner communications and enablement programs, ensuring consistent brand representation and value proposition delivery.
- Develop partner marketing toolkits, training materials, and resources to support effective co-marketing execution.
Required Skills & Education:
Experience and Background
- Seven or more years of marketing experience with demonstrated success in downstream, product, or demand generation marketing roles.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or similar.
- Proven expertise in digital marketing campaigns and performance marketing, with demonstrated ability to drive measurable results and ROI.
- Extensive experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) with a track record of developing and executing successful ABM programs.
- Strong B2B marketing background with the ability to understand complex sales cycles and buyer decision-making processes.
- Experience in the medical device industry is preferred but not required; equivalent B2B technology or healthcare marketing experience is acceptable.

- Strategic thinking combined with strong execution capabilities to translate strategy into measurable results
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and marketing automation platforms.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and data visualization platforms.
- Knowledge of channel partner management and co-marketing program development.
- Experience with event marketing and tradeshow strategy development.
Work Environment:
Traditional Office Environment: This position is primarily an office setting with standard temperature and humidity controls, moderate to light noise, fluorescent lighting, primarily sitting with standing desks available, extensive computer and keyboard use, etc.
