Role Overview
As a Downstream Scientist, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and executing downstream bioprocessing techniques. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful scale-up and production of biotherapeutics, ensuring quality and efficiency at every stage. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the development pipeline from laboratory to manufacturing scale, driving innovation and excellence.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in downstream bioprocessing, particularly within biopharmaceuticals
- Strong knowledge of chromatography, filtration, purification, and formulation techniques
- Ability to design, troubleshoot, and optimize bioprocessing workflows
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with GMP regulations and quality standards
- Proficiency in laboratory practices and instrumentation

Nice To Have Skills
- Experience with process validation and scale-up
- Knowledge of upstream processes and cell culture techniques
- Skills in data analysis and statistical tools
- Experience working in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Preferred Education And Experience
- A degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related fields
- At least 2-4 years of industry experience in downstream processing or bioprocess engineering
