Ferrovial BAM Joint Venture has a strong track record of delivering major UK infrastructure projects on time and within budget. Since first partnering as BFK in 2010 to deliver key Crossrail contracts, the team has also worked together on the Silvertown Tunnel, HS2 Enabling Works (Fusion JV), the HS2 central Main Works Contract (EKFB), and is now delivering track infrastructure across the full HS2 route.
We are now recruiting for a BIM Coordinator to join the HS2 Track infrastructure project.
The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Rail System Alliance ProjectWise and Information manager in delegated CAD information and data structures tasks. They will function as the subject matter expert for Rail System Alliance’s diverse CAD and graphical software tools and graphical software tools and will develop and manage their implementation.
The BIM Coordinator will demonstrate by the effective support provided to the Rail System Alliance ProjectWise and Information Manager through accurate, timely, and structured delivery of delegated CAD information and data-management tasks. They will be recognised as a reliable Subject Matter Expert (SME) for RSA’s CAD and graphical software ecosystem, ensuring that tools are implemented, configured, and maintained to a high standard.

This role can be based at our London or Birmingham office.
Making Possible
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for CAD and BIM information management, providing technical guidance, support and training to project teams, contractors and supply chain partners.
- Ensure digital information is produced, shared, published and assured in line with Rail System Alliance, HS2 and project information management requirements.
- Coordinate Contractor BIM Execution Plans, ensuring they are clear, consistent and aligned with Rail System Alliance objectives.
- Support the Information Manager and ProjectWise Manager with data structures, information workflows, CDE administration and ProjectWise environments.
- Develop, maintain and promote information management standards, templates, workflows and structured data requirements across the project.
- Carry out quality assurance checks on CAD and BIM deliverables to ensure accuracy, compliance and alignment with project standards.
- Monitor information issues and non-conformances, working with internal teams, contractors and suppliers to resolve data quality or compliance concerns.
- Oversee supply chain information outputs, ensuring contractors and external partners follow agreed procedures, templates and workflows.
- Support information sharing across Rail System Contracts, including acting as a point of contact, helping with escalations, organising workshops, tracking progress and reporting updates.
- Coordinate and support testing activities for new digital tools, CAD applications, software updates and information management processes.
- Assist with the implementation and rollout of new technologies, workflows and processes to improve efficiency, consistency and information quality.
- Provide accurate and reliable management of CAD data, CDE configurations and ProjectWise environments.

CAD and BIM deliverables meet project quality, compliance, assurance and governance requirements.
CAD and digital tools are implemented successfully with minimal defects, rework or user-reported issues.
CAD workflows become more efficient, consistent and standardised through improved processes and tool configuration.
What do you bring to the role?
- Proven experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs), including ProjectWise (PWise) and iTwin.
- Strong proficiency with CAD and BIM authoring tools, such as MicroStation, Revit, OpenRoads, OpenRail, and Navisworks.
- Experience managing and validating asset information using tools such as AIMS and IFC model validation processes.
- Working knowledge of data transformation, quality assurance, and analysis tools, including FME and Power BI.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design information and resolving issues using Navisworks Manager or similar coordination platforms.
- Demonstrable understanding of BIM standards, digital engineering workflows, and information management best practices.
- Strong BIM coordination and information management experience within complex infrastructure projects.
